A Matter of Equity:

The Principles of Writing for Understanding

This introductory course will help teachers of all grade levels and content areas to design instructional sequences that incorporate both clearly articulated content understanding and standards-based writing skills. It is designed for K-12 teachers who want to begin incorporating content-based and standards-based writing into their curriculum in a thoughtful and manageable way, so that all their students learn to write effectively.
